Code of conduct

The Shepherds standard is high tech, high touch: warm, personal hospitality, run on strict standard procedures. Every member of our team commits to this code, and these are the standards you can hold us to.

What our team will always do

  • Look after the home and the people in it with respect.
  • Give you a bill for everything you pay for.
  • Check your booking confirmation and IDs at check-in, the same way for every guest.
  • Pass anything they can't solve to Shepherds management straight away.

What our team will never do

  • Take cash, UPI or any payment outside our official channels, or ask for tips.
  • Accept money, gifts or favours to let anyone in, hold a room, extend a stay or bend a rule.
  • Let anyone stay without a confirmed booking, past guests included.
  • Share or misuse your personal details, or contact you for anything other than your stay.
  • Use guest groceries, food or belongings.

We take these rules seriously, and so does our team. Anything that falls short is handled fairly and firmly under our employment terms.

Arrangements outside Shepherds

Bookings, payments, data and decisions go only through Shepherds management: the booking platform, our official payment link, +91 8971814740 and ceo@shepherds.homes. Any arrangement a guest, homeowner or anyone else makes directly with on-site staff outside these channels, including payments or favours, is not authorised and not valid, and Shepherds can't be responsible for it. Please don't put our team in that position.

Report it, confidentially

If anyone on our team falls short of this code, asks you for money, contacts you personally, or mishandles your details, tell us at ceo@shepherds.homes or +91 8971814740. Reports are kept confidential, and we listen to everyone involved before acting.

Respect goes both ways

Our caretakers, cooks and guest associates are professionals. We ask guests and homeowners to treat them with the same courtesy; harassment of our team is not tolerated.
